We live right on the Murray River in Echuca so our curlies are in the perfect environment for their true love of swimming, retrieving, hunting and being in the open outdoors. Curlies are great, loyal and loving dogs that aim to please their owners in whatever way that is asked of them, from Showing, Obedience, Tracking, Agility, Hunting, Trialing or just curling up on the couch with their owners. Our dogs are raised in a family environment so they are socially acceptable in any situation. Expected litter in October, seeking puppy enquiries.

We at CuteCurl Retrievers are dedicated to the ethical breeding and promotion of this exceptional dog. All breeding stock are hip/ elbow scored, and eye tested. Our dogs spend their days lounging on the balcony or swimming in the dam. They are always happy to play games or just relax in front of the TV... whatever their owners feel like doing at the time.

I have been actively involved with dogs and the wonderful Curly since 1997; Markable's selective breeding progrram rates temperament and physical health as paramount. Markable Curlies are cherished companions; participating joyfully and successfully in Conformation Showing, Obedience, Agility, Jumping, and Retrieving; with titles attained in all disciplines. My dogs are all accomplished retrievers on land and from water. Markable Curlies are used as Assistance dogs and have PAT (public access test) assessment accreditation's. I have successfully trained Markable Curlies as Diabetic and Epilepsy Alert Dogs and for PTSD, ASD and Physical Disabilities. All dogs are health-screened and DNA tested to gauge their suitability prior to breeding. All Markable dogs and puppies are in-home reared and raised on a natural RAW diet. Breed, puppy rearing and behavioural information is willingly provided and ongoing contact encouraged. Markable Kurrujong (pictured)) is a trained AD and a School Therapy Dog. We added a Lagotto Romagnolo to our home as a smaller Assistance Dog in 2019. Bassi is a Medical Alert Dog. Bea the Murray River River joined us in 2022 from Barokamurray Victoria. At Curltriever Kennels I pride myself on producing curlies that are true to type and temperament as well as being structural sound. This then allows me the flexibility to place any of my curlies in the show ring, field or as a valued loving family companion.

Since our introduction to the breed in 1992, Curlies have become a big part of our family. We aim to maintain the multi purpose abilities of the breed with our dogs having roles as working gundogs,conformation show dogs, obedience/agility competitors, therapy dogs and loyal family pets. Our puppies are raised in a home environment on a rural property on the Kapiti coast. We only breed very selectively and for ourselves so puppies may occasionally be available to the right homes.
