I have been showing this gorgeous breed for just over 5ys now and I first started out with My gorgeous girl Zara is a champion girl from krystalaine Chris and Elaine Burdett. Zara is now retired with me, Zara was titled champion at only 10months of age with Chris and Elaine, Zara's brother is Krystalaine Khan who is supreme champion and number 1 toy dog in SA For 2014. I adore this breed and have become very attached to each and everyone of my babies. Huge thank you to Chris and Elaine Burdett for allowing me to have and show my beautiful Zara and helping me with my journey with my beautiful Chins. Also thank you to Kathy Spiteri Frostqueen for trusting me with my beautiful foundation girl Meeka. Chins are such a very special breed and the most loving little dogs. I currently no longer breed as i only have 1 show bitch in the show ring.
Japanese Chins are very much part of our family.
With Australian, Singaporean, English, Japanese and American blood lines our concentration in our breeding program is to continue to improve. I breed both black and white and red and white. I have been very consistent and successful in the show ring, with our home bred Alwood Chins. With our puppies being raised in our home, feline and child friendly there temperments are very out going.
As I am on the road alot the Japanese Chins are very well travelled
The Japanese Chin is an addiction, you just cannot stop at one!!!!!!!!!!
We acquired our first Japanese Chin in the early 1990s by importing a young dog from the UK who went on to have a successful show career in NZ. In recent years we have partnered with the Kino Japanese Chin kennel in NZ and have imported a beautiful Champion dog from the Kiseki Japanese Chins in South Australia. We breed selectively and will occasionally have puppies available for a forever home.
We live in Central Hawke's Hawke's Bay and welcome a visit to see our dogs.
Please contact Bill or Bronwyn Murdoch if you would like to discuss our Japanese Chins.

Although relatively new to Japanese Chin, I started with Bichon Frise, in the UK, in the early '80s. I have imported my foundation Chin girls from the US, from the well known Randalets kennel of Peg and Bill Schnarrenberger.
Dogs bred and owned by me have had major wins all around Australia and New Zealand, including:
- Best in Show at the Japanese Chin Club of Victoria
- Best in Show All Breeds
- Multiple Best in Show and Runner Up In Show at Specialist Shows
- Multiple Group winners
With several promising youngsters waiting in the wings and new imports being planned, the best is yet to come!
We also have outgoing, well reared pet puppies available from time to time.

We currently have a 4 month old boy available to a permanent, loving home. "Robson" has been shown a number of times and has multiple Baby in Group awards to his credit, however, as I am already exhibiting a couple of adult males and have a new import arriving soon, I have reluctantly decided I don't have room for another boy at this time.
Robson is fully vaccinated, microchipped and will be desexed before leaving. He is already lead trained and has the most outgoing, extrovert personality. I am happy to freight interstate to a suitable buyer, at their expense.
