Although showing Elkhounds since 1978, it is only since 2003 that I started judging and gained my hound license in 2005.
This has given me an entirely new perception of the whole show world, you see things quite differently from the centre of the ring. I have been able to judge in South Australia, Victoria, NSW, South Australia, Queensland and Western Australia. These shows drew some impressive entries and have been able to give awards to some great dogs.
2008 I judged the Sacramento Norwegian Elkhound Club Specialty and hound breeds in two Allbreed Shows in the USA. In 2011 I had the honour of Judging the Canadian National Elkhound Show in Halifax, Nova Scotia an experience that I will long remember with warm memories.
