I have been involved with Basset Hounds for 40 years and have in that time Bred Australian Champions and Australian Supreme Champions who have won over 30 x Best Exhibit In Show awards , as well as 19 x Basset Hound Specialty Best in Show awards under Australian and International Judges .

I am a licensed Hound & Gundog Group Judge and currently a Trainee Judge in the working Dog Group.

A Member of the Victorian & NSW Basset Hound Clubs and Dogs Victoria Inc .

I am a Long-standing dedicated Basset Hound breeder, having successfully exhibited my Bassets at not only Breed Specialty shows, but also All Breed Shows. My first Basset came into my life in late 1969, and for the past 50 plus years, Basset Hounds have continued to be much loved family companions.

I am a Life Member of the Basset Hound Club of Victoria Inc, Member of Basset Hound Club of NSW, and a member of Dogs Victoria (affiliated Dogs Australia/ANKC). I am an experienced ANKC licenced judge for Hounds (group 4); Gundogs (Group 3); Working Dog (Group 5) and Non-sporting (Group 7), and regularly judge these breeds, not only in Australia, but also New Zealand, and the USA. I have also judged Basset Hounds at Breed Speciality Championship Shows not only within Australia, but also New Zealand, the UK as well as the USA.

Thoughtfully bred, and lovingly raised puppies from health tested parents, are occasionally available to good homes only.

Breeding Smooth and Miniature Smooth Dachshunds, with the addition of Basset Hounds in 2008. Collectively as a mother/daughter duo under the Kamahi prefix have over 80 years combined breeding experience, showing and handling to various titles of Australian, Grand and Supreme Champions winning multi Best in Show, Best in Hound Group and Best Class in Show awards at both All Breed and Speciality shows, including Best in Hound Group placements at numerous Royals, under Judges here in Australian and from around the world.

She is currently the President of the Hound Club of Victoria, Vice President of the Basset Hound Club of Victoria and Committee Member of Dachshund Club of Victoria and serves as a qualified VCA Representative for DogsVictoria. Brenda formerly served as President of the Dachshund Club of Victoria.

Having owned Basset Hounds for over 40 years, our goal is to also help others enjoy the breed.
We are located on a small acreage property in South Gippsland, Victoria and our Bassets are part of our home.
All puppies have Registration Papers and will leave Microchipped, Vaccinated, Wormed, Vet checked and with a Starter Puppy Kit.

Our dogs are our family and live in the house with us on our 10 acre property in the Dandenong Ranges. All puppies are hand raised, loved and well socialised with our large family. Puppies are all microchipped, wormed, vaccinated, and vet checked.

At Karma Spirit we believe in producing healthy, good structured puppies and dogs with wonderful temperaments for both show and home.
We live on a small acreage property in the Grampians Region of Victoria.
Our dogs are family first and show dogs second.
Our puppies are hand raised in the home with lots of love and socialised with our family and friends, our other dogs and our cat.
All puppies go to their new homes vet checked, vaccinated, microchipped and with registration papers. We also include a puppy starter pack.
