Welcome to Aidensfield Japanese Chins. I have been exhibiting dogs for over 30 years starting with Cavalier King Charles Spaniels , with an Affenpinscher added to the list and then onto Japanese Chins for about the last 15 years. We have owned ,bred and exhibited , multiple Australian Champions , including multiple Best in Show (All Breeds) , Runner up Best in Shows, and Best of Breed at Sydney Royal numerous times, with both home bred dogs , and dogs that other breeders send to become champions. We do not breed often, therefore our puppies are in high demand .

We acquired our first Japanese Chin in the early 1990s by importing a young dog from the UK who went on to have a successful show career in NZ. In recent years we have partnered with the Kino Japanese Chin kennel in NZ and have imported a beautiful Champion dog from the Kiseki Japanese Chins in South Australia. We breed selectively and will occasionally have puppies available for a forever home. We live in Central Hawke's Hawke's Bay and welcome a visit to see our dogs. Please contact Bill or Bronwyn Murdoch if you would like to discuss our Japanese Chins. [email protected] or 027 4745008

** We now proudly welcome Sangria Puccini(Imp UK) to Australia ** Puccini gained his Australian Championship in just a few months of showing here in Australia. I had the pleasure of campaigning Champion Chinsan Kenjin to his Australian title and have fallen for this delightful inquisitive breed. My first two Chins that I imported from the UK excel in correct breed type with excellent pedigrees behind them. Both gained their Australian Championship titles with ease with many class in group wins along the way. With Australian Champion Amronchi Kisho Dai (Imp UK) winning BEST OF BREED at the MELBOURNE ROYAL 2007 from the Junior Class and Aust Ch Amronchi Satoya Tae (Imp UK) winning BEST EXHIBIT IN SHOW at the Japanese Chin Club of Victoria Champ Show June 2008. ~~Home of Best in Show and Best in Speciality Show winning chins of correct size with outstanding confirmation~~

Although relatively new to Japanese Chin, I started with Bichon Frise, in the UK, in the early '80s. I have imported my foundation Chin girls from the US, from the well known Randalets kennel of Peg and Bill Schnarrenberger. Dogs bred and owned by me have had major wins all around Australia and New Zealand, including: - Best in Show at the Japanese Chin Club of Victoria - Best in Show All Breeds - Multiple Best in Show and Runner Up In Show at Specialist Shows - Multiple Group winners With several promising youngsters waiting in the wings and new imports being planned, the best is yet to come! We also have outgoing, well reared pet puppies available from time to time.

We are thrilled to announce that we are expecting puppies. We have a confirmed pregnancy and our reproduction specialist vet has said to expect a large litter. Puppies due the 12th of January and going to homes anytime from approx the 9th of March. Both parents of these babies are chill, friendly and characteristically obsessed with their humans. Both are undemanding dogs who rarely bark. Both pareents are around 17.5kgs so we are expecting regular size Wheatens. There are some smaller dogs in the pedigree so smaller is possible although less likely with this litter. If you are already on our list, please make sure to call or email and make sure I know the timing of this litter suits you. Cool Autumn days are the perfect time to welcome a new puppy into the family. Flights to all major capitals can be arranged. Please do not hesitate to call us to discuss your next family furpal. For current guardian availability and information please see our website.
