Labrador Silver Coat Colour Warning - The National Labrador Retriever Breed Council (Australia) has issued a position statement for the Silver (or Platinum / Charcoal) Coat Colour. The Labrador only has 3 recognised colours - (Black, Yellow and Liver/Chocolate).

Dorothy became involved when we retired to Bemboka in 1998 and purchased through connections in Victoria two yellow girls, Conningsburgh Damsel and Trewintree Celeste and then our first beautiful Black Prestonvale Fairy. These girls caused our involvement in the local Kennel Clubs, Dog Shows and Training which continues to this day.

Breeder of quality Black and Yellow pedigree Labrador Retrievers. All of our dogs are from champion Australian, UK, American & Canadian bloodlines. Our aim is to breed the very best we can which is a Labrador that has a good in temperament, is physically sound and a true representation of the breed standard.
We enjoy showing our dogs and we have done extremely well over the past 20 years. Our dogs have won Labrador specialty shows across the country and we have won best of breed at the prestigious Sydney Royal Easter show. We have titled a number of Australian Champions and a Grand Champion. All of our breeding Labradors have hip & elbow clearances and we test for a range of known genetic disorders which can affect Labradors.
Our dogs and puppies are raised in a loving family environment. They are raised with our children, as part of the family. We occasionally have a litter, however our puppies are always in demand due to their quality and temperaments. Many of our puppy buyers are returning families and referrals from previous families who already own a Cladaghring puppy.

All our dogs are hip and elbow xrayed, eyes are certified annually and we hold all DNA clearances.

Our highly respected kennel has always maintained one very clear objective -to produce quality Labrador Retrievers. They must have good Temperament, Breed Type and Structural Soundness and above all else display that distinctive "look" which has become synonomous with Driftway.

Our Labradors live as one big happy family on 100 acres in the Hunter Valley of NSW, 2 hours north of Sydney.They have 2 kilometers of the Paterson River to swim in and lots of different types of terrain and bush to explore. We show our dogs when time permits and have been very successful, having bred more than 30 Australian Champions but first and foremost our dogs are part of our family and their happiness is more important to us than any show success.
We have been breeding our Labs since 1979 and have many generations of consistently beautiful Labs (especially beautiful faces) with great temperaments, soundness and good breed type. We have hip and elbow scored from our first litter (with excellent results) and DNA tested for PRA and EIC since the tests first became available. Our puppies are raised in the house for at least the first 6 weeks.
Some of the dogs we have bred have become Guide Dogs, Assistance Dogs and Therapy dogs and our puppies have appeared in various TV commercials, such as Kleenex ones.
We really enjoy our puppy clients keeping in touch with us and hearing of the happiness that our Labs bring to their families.
Terracarol Labrador Retrievers located in the beautiful Hunter Valley have been breeding happy,healthy sound Labradors for over 40 years. 0ver the years we have won in excess of 180 Best Exhibit in Show awards covering both all breeds champ shows and speciality shows. We are very committed and enjoy our dogs as you would a family member . Our current top dog Grd Ch Terracarol Time Square ( Toby ) is the No1 Labrador in the country for 2009 and he is leading this years point score as well. We have a few well planned litters in the pipe line for later this year which should see Terracarol stay on top of the breed in the future.

Our dogs are competitive in the show and obedience rings and have placed well at both State and National levels. We are most proud of our service and assistance and scent detection dogs. All our breeding stock have full Certified DNA Profile covering all known Disease, and traits and colour specification are known to Labradors from Oct 2018. We breed Black, Yellow and Chocolate Labradors.
From birth our pups are raised in a loving, family home environment on our property where they are socialized with friends and other family pets.
Puppies are vaccinated, Microchipped and Vet checked prior to leaving our home at 8 weeks.
Our breeding's are carefully planned from sound lines that are certified for Hips & Elbows.

Australian Champion Greatlands Latin Touch has produced 5 beautiful litters of pups with one gaining second in class at the Royal Easter Show in 2010 at 6mths of age as well as other offspring that have gained their Championship titles, she produced many beautiful family pets and has now sadly crossed the rainbow. She was my heart dog and will continue to live on in her grand children and great great grand children. Our dogs are family members first and enjoy the pool and beach outings.
I will endeavour to capture the true spirit of the Labrador Retriever in our breeding program. We are a very small kennel situated on 60 acres,currently having only one litter per year. We therefore have plenty of time to spend with the pups and they are handled by children and adults since birth.
Our dogs have been selected from Champion Driftway and Silverstream lines and have been choosen for soundness, temperament, confirmation and good looks.

We are a small kennel located near Liverpool Sydney.
Our puppies are bred for temperament, soundness and health that conform to the breed standard .

Our puppies are raised in a family environment within our home for the first few weeks of birth and when leaving for their new home are well socialised.
FOURRIVERS Labradors is a small labrador kennel. We live on a large rural property west of Tenterfield, the dogs have plenty of room and a river for an afternoon swim. I have been breeding now for 24 years and absolutely love the companionship of my dogs. Our labs are a big part of our family and we strive to produce the best quality in soundness, body and temperament.
My three children (now adults) love playing and getting into mischief with the labs, they also spend quality time with puppies to help socialize them ready for new homes with families.
Our Labrador family consists of Melody (black girl) and Annie (Black Girl), Sonja (Yellow Girl), Queenie (Choc Girl) and Luna (Black Girl). 2 of these are young and 2 will retire soon. I also have 2 young boys I am running on to see if they will be suitable sires. Walker (Black Male), and Odin (Choc Male).
