While we at Sunshard do breed the occasional litter focusing on health, temperament, and type our main focus is trialling in the performance ring. For this reason we rarely have puppies.

When we do have puppies they are bred and raised with performance sports in mind. They are socialised and receive enrichment from birth and we offer support and assistance to our puppy people whenever it is required and we always love to hear how they are going. Our dogs are housed and raised in the home enviroment.

All our dogs are hip and elbow scored and DNA tested for CEA, MRD1 and DM.

We are primarily a rough collie kennel but a smooth collie was added to our kennel in 2003 when Ch Golden Ambition of Glenrere (Amber) came to us. Now we delight in having both varieties. A lovely sable girl who was a delight to have. Maybe in the future we will once again have a smooth in our kennel.

Nagemlace Cardigan Corgis currently has 2 beautiful male babies available. Born on the 12/05/24 and ready to go new forever homes. Their parents are both Australian Champions and have excellent temperament. Dam is Ch. Nagemlace Warmth of Winter "Vienna" and Sire is Ch. Kalora Zees Easy on the Eye "Tux". Both male pups have lovely temperaments and have been socialised making them suitable for homes with children and other animals. Two Litters expected Early August, 2024 and 1 planned for Mid September (possibly spoken for if small litter number). Brindle, Tricolours, Merles.
Parents have been breed panel DNA tested and progeny will not be at risk for DM and PRA. We are here to support our homes and take back any dog, at any stage throughout life, if needed. We're about right homes first time around and endeavour to place pups once, and well.

Puppies are whelped and raised within the family home using protocols from several puppy raising programs, tactile learning exposure opportunities, experiences and interactions. Puppies leave us at 9 weeks old on average. We adapt for each litters' requirements and progress is available to view on our Facebook page/group updates.

A beautiful litter of 9 puppies, born on the 12 July 2024. To a wonderful mother - Plantation Fantasy Princess.
Sire is very well known NZ CH Carddicted Journeyman (Imp Sweden) owned by Wendy O'Callaghan.
There are 5 boys and 4 girls.
The puppies come from talented parents. Princess participating and enjoying Conformation showing, Rally-O, Jumpers, and visiting Rest Homes as a Canine Therapy Dog. Hunter- puppies Dad, is found playing practical jokes on his family, and loves chasing a broom.
Puppies will be ready for the new chapter in their lives in new homes after 14 Sept.
