Breeding only occasionally with parents hip and eye tested prior to breeding and have done so for over 35 years as well. ALL pets sold on limited register with Dogs QLD and will include desexing, microchip, worming, vaccinations in the cost.
We have had so much fun with our dogs which were carefully bred for brains, attitude and fabulously good looks using Grand / Supreme Champions and obedience titled dogs and have produced all colours. Hips and eyes checked for all adult breeding dogs.
Many have gained titles in Agility, Flyball, Endurance and Dances with Dogs and Rally O Obedience; and since 2016 Weight Pull, Working Pack Dog and Lure Coursing; as well as traditional ANKC obedience. A true reflection on the wonderful calm and friendly temperaments of Mikulov Siberian Huskies.
Sadly, with the passing of Richard in 2020, I have stopped breeding Huskies, moving to more trainable Golden Retrievers (puppies available in 2024)

Arcticpalace have been breeding and exhibiting Siberian Huskies for 20 plus years now and have been very successful in the showring, but also priding ourselves on quality tempraments as well as breed conformation.
Our foundation Siberians we started out with were "Jack" Grand Champion Arcticmate Yukons Jack and "Princess" Grand Champion Thundova Snow Princess both were Multi Best in Show Winners.
Our first homebred litter from these two were "Chief" Grand Champion Arcticpalace Yukons Cheif and "Duchess" Gr Ch Arcticpalace Snow Duchess , both Multi Best in Show winners.
All are sadly no longer with us passing at very old ages, Jack, 14, Princess 12 and Daughter Duchess 16, 1 month and 26 days.😢 Cheif unfortunately was our first and only dog taken by tragedy at 7 years old.
All our dogs are eye tested & from Hip Xrayed and scored lines and have shown proven longevity in their lives, with many here at Arcticpalace are retired and in double digits.
We have gone on to breed many Supreme Champions, Grand Champions and Champions under the Arcticpalace prefix been very successful in the showring and have made ourselves and many people very happy to own their own Siberian Husky puppies to which we have met and made many wonderful friends through.
Our dogs also run in harness in the dry land dog sledding and thoroughly enjoy doing this and what they were bred for.

Prior to purchasing our first Siberian Husky we spent 2 years researching the traits, characteristics & specific needs of this breed. From the moment we welcomed our 1st Siberian into our life we were completely in love with what this breed brought into our lives. We have been actively involved with conformation shows from 2012, a hobby that we love & have had great success with. Our goal with our breeding programme is to breed beautiful healthy & sound Siberians as per the breed standard. Temperaments being extremely important to us as well as form & function. With our experience & knowledge & continued learning we are excited about this very privelaged journey of breeding Siberian Huskies & becoming guardians of this breed we love so much. Whilst we love & are actively involved in conformation shows, we also enjoy obedience, different types of dog sports & dry land racing in winter although a spinal injury has limited us from doing this as much as we would like. Through stringent training & passing assessment criteria’s we have accredited 4 girls which allow them to be certified therapy dogs. A job they love & enjoy & something we are immensely proud of as owners. Please research this wonderful breed before taking one into your family. They are not a breed for everyones lifestyle.

Riversrun prefix was born in 2016 after we ended the Desaran prefix which was started back in 2005 with South African bloodlines. We have since introduced the Russian lines forming the quality dogs we have produced today under both prefixes.
We have always been a small family kennel, breeding only when we wish to produce the next generation to introduce to the show ring. Occasionally we do have babies available to the right homes but we are also often blessed with singletons that excel in the show ring proving the age old adage "it only takes one!"
Our babies are raised in the home and are well socialized with fantastic temperaments seen in all our dogs.
They are typical Siberians and only wish to be with you and please you, they will happily be a bed hog and lounge around all day or go for a 10km run with you. However, sometimes they feel that the way to your heart is through helping you with the gardening, plastering or even coming to find you when you leave them home alone.
So as most breeders say "A Siberian Husky is not for everyone" please do your research before deciding that this wonderful breed is for you, as they certainly can be a handful at times.
