Judge Name : Mrs Lynn Nielsen (QLD)
My first Pure Bred pet was a Shetland Sheepdog, and after having been convinced to exhibit her at a Parade back in 1978, I became "hooked" on showing, and eventually began breeding these sweet, loyal dogs.
I was introduced to Bearded Collies in 1981. In between those years, I owned and exhibited Australian Kelpies and Rhodesian Ridgebacks. Since moving from Shelties to Tibetan Spaniels in the early 00's, I have proudly owned and bred many Champions and have presented the breed lecture for this breed for the past few years.
Having raised my children and not able to keep up with my Beardies in the ring anymore (although I have been presenting the Breed lecture for more than 8 years), I became more interested with the running of shows, and as an extension of that involvement, I am attending lectures with our Dogs Queensland Judges' training scheme.
I consider it a privilege to be able to Judge, and thoroughly enjoy working with both dogs and people.
