Vanharley Kennels was est.in 1985. Since this time we have sought to achieve a combination of solid breeding lines combining strength of character, correct construction and soundness of body & mind. Always using the best bloodlines available & following the Breed Improvement Schemes for Hips, Elbows, Haemophelia & Breed Survey through the German Shep.Dog Council of Aust.,who have awarded me a "GOLD Medal" for the amount of progeny bred who have achieved their "A"/"Z". Dogs who have not only passed the scheme for elbows and achieved the 'Z' stamp, but who have a score of '0' on both elbows. I have maintained my base lines that combine the best bloodlines available, which include Gold Medal winners & Champions, to these I have added top producing Sieger & VA lines from Germany. Dogs such as these help to maintain the quality I have come to expect in my kennels, to produce dogs that can go out in public & make me proud of their achievements, such as:

My starting point with the German Shepherd Dog breed goes way back to 1976/77, when I obtained my first pup from Ian and Maureen Cameron of San Rancho Kennels.

I have held my breeders prefix for many years and I continue to show and breed when I can.

I am a members of Dogs Vic, The GSD club of Victoria, I am currently the Branch Manager of the Gippsland Branch. I am also involved with two kennel clubs. I actively show in Victoria and New South Wales.

I strongly believe in the breed schemes and as such DNA testing for known hereditary issues has become an integral part of breeding in my kennel. All puppies I sell have a full DNA profile supplied to new owners

I have no plans for breeding in the foreseeable future.

I have been involved in showing dogs since 1978 I fell in love with German Shepherds in the’80’s and have since shown multiple dogs to their Aust Championship. Wyngarah was established in 1999 with my first litter resulting in 3 puppies. All were shown successfully as youngsters in the specialty ring and 2 became Aust Champions.
After a long break from showing. In 2016 we had our first litter in 16 years from Shadow With one of the puppies winning Baby Puppy class at both the Vic State Breed Show And Breed National Show.

Ch.Freinhauf Hasta LaVista Baby is Breed surveyed Mutli excellent winner National class winner and many specialty show wins Also a Best In Show winner (All Breeds)

Ch.Bronacre Indian Summer Knight (AI) Breed surveyed and multi group and in show winner. Indi was bred from semen of Ch. Hasenway Wild Knight a winner over 20years ago. At just 2yo already halfway to her to Grand title

Ch.Vanharley Dayna Made Me Do It My first Long Coat As a puppy she is multi class in group winner well on her way to her Grand title already

Wyngarah is a small boutique kennel located Geelong in Victoria. We will be continuing to breed for Soundness, Type, Temperament and Companionship.

Both the sire and the dam have outstanding temperaments, both passed hips and elbows and have been extensively shown and socialised.
The sire has an outstanding temperament that any GSD owner would love as he is a real workman in the show ring and a gentleman when he’s being a therapy dog.
Dam is a lovely girl who is easy to live with. Both dogs have really loving temperaments. There should be some lovely puppies in this litter.

Lukota is a small scale breeder and our dogs are our family. We have both a high drive working line and show lines. Stock coats and Long coats We are the 3rd generation GSD breeders in our family and have had German shepherds most of our life’s

We are active in both Obedience shows and Conformation shows and really believe in only breeding to better the breed. We focus a lot on temperament and breeding well rounded dogs. Our German Shepherds make great family pets with beautiful sound and solid temperaments.

Our pups are raised on 100+ acres and are exposed to all types of animals and livestock, loud sounds, machinery and children. As a dog trainer I put a lot of effort, training and environmental exposure and early neurological stimulation into our pups in the critical time of their life to try and ensure well rounded and confident and outgoing puppies.
