My love for the breed ensures im breeding for temperament and trainability along with puppies free of any genetic health issues.
I am a small breeder in the Upper Great Southern of WA South East of Perth. I have been a Dogs West member for approx 14 years and have bred several litters.
First and foremost my dogs are my pets, they are fabulous with kids and love to be loved. They are very chilled. They love their off leash walks/runs each day doing there own thing for around 1-2km. I have 3 generations floating around the state.
I frequent Perth and the South West and Im happy for anyone to view my dogs by arrangement should I be in these areas as they always travel with me. Or if you would like a drive to the country to visit me to view my dogs a day trip will do the job.
My dogs are DNA tested for PRA - EIC - HNPK and including 16 other known diseases potentially carried by labradors and all paperwork work is available for you to view on request. I work together with some great breeders in WA and my dogs are mated to the appropriate stud dogs for temperament and appropriate DNA profile to avoid puppies being affected by these avoidable diseases. A copy of all offical paperwork will come in your folder for future reference.
Names are taken without a deposit I only ask for a deposit once puppies and Mum have been viewed at 6 weeks of age and this deposit is refundable if you change your mind.

Shadow Spirit Enterprises breed Labrador Retrievers, all 3 colours, for our assistance dog program. All our dogs are well socialised. All our puppies are exposed to a 3 week neurological stimulation program (ENS) and then a five week program including exposing them to various experiences, environments and sound desensitisation. This helps them develop the confidence needed to be an integral part of your family life.
Our puppies make great candidates for Assistance,

Brisbane based Labrador Breeder passionate about producing healthy, intelligent dogs with correct working traits. With progeny working as qualified assistance and therapy dogs and numerous progeny under development as detection dogs, guide dogs, therapy dogs, assistance dogs (PTSD, autism, psychiatric and diabetic alert), search and rescue dogs as well as dog sports (retrieving, nosework, obedience); my key objective is consistency in temperament and workable traits.
Working line Labradors are my main focus, and as such my dogs have a more athletic appearance compared to the traditional showline type. Intelligence and biddability are the traits I most often receive complements for, and as a conscientious breeder all my dogs are fully health tested and come from excellent, proven bloodlines. Sires are rigorously selected based on their health, lineage, temperament and workable traits.
I train my own dogs in dog sports, detection and SAR (search and rescue) work so I am just as passionate about training dogs as I am about breeding.

Therapaws was born after our family welcomed and fell in love with a beautiful Labrador girl many years ago, who remains the heart of our world and the therapy dog for our child.
With the idea of producing the best quality Labradors to enrich the lives of others, Therapaws aims to breed puppies of sound health and conformation but specifically focusses on producing well socialised puppies with outstanding, well balanced temperaments. Our puppies are born and raised inside our home, resulting in them being socialised as soon as they are born to household noises and routines. We strive to provide labradors with the most wonderful true to standard temperaments that are suitable for devoted family companions, service work, therapy work and the show ring. Once health is established we breed firstly for temperament. Before having puppies all our breeding animals are temperament assessed, full breed DNA tested and hip & elbows xrayed for soundness. We work closely with our vets and other ethical breeders.
We are registered with Dogs NSW and adhere strictly to their code of conduct. We passed our site inspection with flying colours.
Our pups are born and raised in our home. They experience household noises and happenings and are well socialised with exposure to children, dogs, cats, visitors, crates training, car rides and toilet training. We start training very early in the puppies lives along with daily cuddles. We believe puppy socialisation and training starts with the breeder and we want to give each of our pups every chance to become a stable and valued family or team member.
We start puppies in a good direction but they require ongoing training and love from their new owners. Labradors crave the company of their families and so do not cope well with extended time alone. They often bark excessively and become destructive. Nothing beats the company of a well trained and loved labrador.
We enjoy getting to know new puppy owners and we particularly enjoy news and pictures as the puppy grows.
