Judge Profile

I began judging in 1987, and gained my Gun Dog licence in 1989. This was followed by my Toy licence in 1991, and Non Sporting licence in 1995. My Hound licence followed in 2008, Terrier licence in 2010, Working licence in 2011 and then Utility licence in 2013, giving me ANKC All Breeds.
I have judged in most Sates and Territories in Australia, as well as appointments in the UK [Scotland, England & Wales] Ireland, Norway, Finland, South Africa, The Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, China and New Zealand, with appointments in Canada scheduled for August 2023.
I have been fortunate to judge specialty shows in English Setters [NSW], English Springer Spaniels [NSW and 2 x Qld], Lowchen [NSW & Finland], Hungarian Viszla [SA], Chihuahua [SA] and Poodles [WA]
I have owned, bred and shown English Springer Spaniels since 1980, Lowchens since 1982, and whippets since 2000. I have also owned, bred and shown Chihuahua Long and Smooth, Pugs, Lhasa Apso and Chesapeake Bay Retrievers. I have shown Maltese, Std Poodles, Cocker Spaniel, Gordon Setter, Afghan Hound, and St Bernard.
