Narelle Hammond commenced her dog showing career at the age of seven years exhibiting her grandfather's German Shepherd Dogs and her parent's Welsh Corgi (Pembroke).
In 1979, she embarked on her own career with the magnificent and unique Australian Cattle Dog. Under the Kombinalong prefix, Narelle has bred and exhibited many champions to date, the most
well known of which is Ch Kombinalong Super "K" who has accumulated a record breaking 20 Best in Shows, 21 Runner Up to Best in Show, won Best in Show at the Australian Breeds Bi-

As well as her beloved Australian Cattle Dog, Narelle co-owns with her husband Ken multi BIS/multi Group winning Champion Dobermanns. She has also groomed and handled many
breeds in the Working Group such as the German Shepherd Dog, Welsh Corgi Pembroke, Shetland Sheepdog, Australian Kelpie and Border Collie, and outside the Working Group she as
bred and handled Fox Terriers both Wire and Smooth, handled Dachshunds, Afghan Hounds, Dalmatians, Rottweilers, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Miniature Pinschers and Siberian
An accomplished author Narelle has written for TFH Publications "The Australian Cattle Dog" which has sold to date worldwide some 50,000 copies. In 1996 she wrote and published, "The Australasian Dobermann", a 416 page history of the Dobermann in Australia and New Zealand, and "The New Owners Guide to the Australian Cattle Dog" book, which was released in July 1999.
Narelle is currently writing her third book on the Australian Cattle Dog and the Australian Stumpy Tail Cattle Dog which is due for release mid 2020
Narelle has presented her Australian Cattle Dog study of the breed to the Dog Judges Association of America on line, the Finnish Kennel Club and her lecture material is used in most
states of Australia and New Zealand.
